RSVP and Location

Hello All,

Flora here to remind you to get those RSVPs in so we know whose beautiful faces to be expecting this April. Sooner the better as we are trying to plan our wonderful reception and would like to minimize waste. And of course if the cards just aren't right for your physical trip to Portland, we hope you will be there in spirit.

So as to Location here are the details!

Our handfasting will take place in Portland, Oregon at the Hoyt Arboretum. For all your mapping needs the address is 4000 SW Fairview Boulevard, or Google Maps. Specifically we will be at the Stephens Picnic Shelter across from the Visitor Center. Here is a map of that.
Do you see the star that says Picnic Shelter? Thats were both the ritual and reception will take place. Bathrooms are located across the street at the Visitors Center.

By car go westbound on Burnside and take a Left on SW Fischer Lane. Continue on Fischer Lane until you reach Fairview Blvd, and take a right. The visitors center should be on your left.
Alternatively travel westbound on Highway 26 to the Zoo Exit #72. After the exit ramp take a right onto Zoo Rd which becomes Knights Blvd, and continue onto the T with Fairview Blvd and turn Right. The Visitors Center will be on your Right. There is public parking available at the Visitors Center and at the corner of Knights and Kingston.

If you are wanting to take public transportation there is the MAX! Go By either Red or Blue Max line to the Washington Park Max Stop.
Go back to the map, see the box that says light rail station? You will take an elevator from the underground Max stop to the surface. Walk up the hill onto Overlook Trail to the Holly Trail to arrive at the Visitors Center and Picnic Shelter.

That should be enough to get you where you are going. Just make sure to have a good navigator at hand!

  1. I am so Happy for the BOTH of you! Congratulations!
Due to Red Dress, I will probably not be able to make the Handfast. But will do everything I can too make the reception on the 17th.

Love and Light to you both!
